Every extension that is published on the Chrome Web Store goes through a manual review process where each requested permission needs to be justified. The following table shows which permission we require and how we use it.

Storage We store user settings in the browser space allocated specifically for Tab Seeker extension.

Data Storage, Transfer and Security

While we follow industry best practices regarding storage, transfer and security of any information we may hold on our servers, no system is truly impenetrable and due to the nature of the Internet we cannot guarantee that information during transmission or while stored on our systems or generally in our care will be absolutely safe from intrusion or snooping by others, namely hackers. With that said, all data communications in transit to and from our servers are secured with HTTPS/TLS encryption. Additionally, sensitive information such as passwords are never logged and are only stored in an unintelligible form.

The majority of Tab Seeker's features work in offline mode, where information about your open tabs is stored only locally in your browser. We recommend keeping your browsers up to date with the latest security patches.
